12. Tafalla’s Monteplano
Tafalla
There are many different ways to visit this plateau covered with pines. This time we choose the trails that surround the entire perimeter.
After a short link section between Tafalla and Monteplano, we’ll go deep into the forest through some of the area’s best singletracks. The farthest trails from Tafalla, belonging to Olite municipality, have the most twisty and techy sections, that alternate with some good gravel roads. Meanwhile, in the route sections closer to Tafalla we’ll be able to enjoy at full speed the straight paths crossing the pine forests.
The return to Tafalla follows the same gravel road by which we previously reached Monteplano. Without doubt, this is a perfect route to get in touch with the singletracks, where you will surely end up with a smile in your face.
