This is one of Zona Media’s most exciting and playful routes. First kilometres serve as a link with the singletrack area between Santa Cecilia and Oiamburu Forts. Short after Garínoain Gall Oak (Navarra’s Natural Monument) we find Santa Cecilia Chapel, an ancient fortified settlement surrounded by moats and remnants of walls. The trails around the chapel mark the beginning of the route’s most exciting section.
From there on, several flowy trails follow each other smoothly. The route eventually climbs up to Oiamburu Fort’s prominent location, from where the views over the countless villages and mountains are endless and fade away into the horizon. All that remains is returning to the starting point relishing the lived experience.
